award winning project: Lyttelton

This three-story 1930's home has been lovingly restored and updated to with space, light and luxury.

The character living areas in neutral colours, open onto spacious new decks and views across Banks Peninsula. The leadlight windows have been retro-fitted with double glazing, and the interior rimu wood panelling has been respectfully renovated.  The tranquil bathrooms are splashes of green and blues to reflect the harbour views.

Repairing the earthquake damage included a new foundation and re-strengthening. 

The separate garage was also rebuilt to tie in with the house, clad in timber weatherboard and shingle gables.

This home renovation won a Master Builders House of the Year Gold, Regional Category and Supreme Awards, which represents an extremely high standard of building and recognises Excellence in workmanship, creativity and innovation. The highly prestigious awards celebrate and acknowledge the achievements of Master Builders in New Zealand.
